573. Cairo, Kasr. El Nile Street and Immobilia Building

The first scyscraper in Cairo and in
Egypt was the expressionist Immobilia
Building. Designed in 1937 and
completed in 1940, it was then, with
18 floors and 70 meters, the highest
structure in the country.
