1301. Haus de Arbeiterprese, Pressa-Koln
Dear Frank,
This is a handsome view of the functionalist workers press pavilion in the International Exhibition of the Modern Press, Advertising, and Publishing that was held in Cologne (Germany) between May and October of 1928.
The postcard of the Hans Schumacher Architect designed pavilion was for A.D.G.B. - - Allgemeiner Deutscher Gewerkschaftsbund - - a confederation of German trade unions in Germany.
The A.D.G.B. was also the client for the Trade Union Schools by Hannes Meyer in Bernau and by Max Taut in Berlin.
