Cuando pienso en lo mejor de la infancia recuerdo el leve
aleteo de la libélula sobre el charco: el mundo era rojo y
brillante como su cuerpo y el futuro olía como la tierra
mojada tras las lluvias de septiembre. No sé si entonces
comprendía la belleza de aquel rubí detenido en el aire.
Pero sentía su poder: mantenía a raya los inviernos.

Querido Jose,

Las grandes cerchas invertidas que cubren el pabellon
y sostienen los lucernarios en diente de sierra me
recuerdan las cuadernas de un gran buque. Algunos
detalles como las escaleras radiales parecidas a
pasarelas de barcos confirman mi impresion de cierto
ambiente nautico, parecido al que senti en ciertos
edificios medievales catalanes.

One of the numerous thoughts of Aldo Rossi included
in his celebrated book "The Architecture of the City"
states:
"...the dynamic process of the city tends more to
evolution than preservation, and that in evolution
monuments are not only preserved but continuously
presented as propelling elements of development"

Although this book was written in 1982 I believe it is
still a powerful source of valuable ideas.

Querido Manolo,

De esta estructura podriamos hablar
de la sinergia entre tension y
compresion de sus partes
(tu me dirias eso es tensegridad,
tu sabes no?). Sin embargo a mi me
apetece mas dejarme llevar por la
fantasia de pensar esto como un
gigantesco mosquito. Sus finisimas
patas son los 9 cables de acero que
la anclan a la montaña y su aguijon,
ya clavado en la tierra, el mastil
central; su diminuto cuerpo las
plantas colgadas a la mitad que van
hinchandose lentamente de la
sangre robada.

importante en este edificio era penetrar en él ascendiendo
desde la escena como un Epidauro y anclarlo en la bahía
para dejarlo clavado ahí para siempre.
