2372. Hamburger Kunsthalle. Galerie der Gegenwart.

Querido Manolo,

1921 (Kuppelsaal) y 1997 (Galeria Gegenwart).

Un abrazo,

1391. Deutsches Architekturmuseum. Frankfurt-am-Main. Haus im Haus

Dear Stefan

"The concept of architecture is neither unitary or pluralistic, neither closed or open, neither rigid nor free...It is not based on dogmatic position or a political program, but on the aspiration for an architecture characterized by conceptual and thematic restraint. It
is conceived to prevent the rigidity of total order and also the chaos of total independence"
(Oswald Mathias Ungers)

Dear Hans,

“There is a great misunderstanding among architects.
They think they are inventors and always need to be
avant-garde. But you cannot permanently exist as an
avant-garde. That is impossible.”
(Oswald Mathias Ungers)
