760. Bartholomeus Ruloffstraat hoek J.M. Coenenstraat. Amsterdam

Dear Michel,

Dutch architect Jan Staal designed and built this successful middle-income housing building full
of creative rationality, as many times seen in the stimulating architecture of the Amsterdam School.

Sincerely,
R

Dear Jennifer,

Aalmeer is the center of the Dutch flower trade.
This particular market hall is known as "Bloemenlust"
(floral delight) and was built by J.F. Staal in 1928.
The gable shape is a neat echo of the glasshouses where
flowers are typically grown. Hope I can teach you
some architecture as you asked me to do.

All the best.

Dear Francesco,

This trio of adjacent houses under one roof designed
by J.F. Staal has biblical names: Zophar, Eliphaz and
Bildad

Best regards.

Querido Manolo,

He llegado a Amsterdam y me he encontrado de
repente con tu torre de Hispano-Aviación. Ahora
he de confesarte que me gusta más que antes.
No hay forma de irse de Sevilla!
Pero de todas formas gracias por la cita.

Un abrazo.
