The architecture from Faroe Island has a strong 

influence from both Norwegian and Danish architecture. 

This modern church is able to accommodate about 500 

people and follows well the traditional Faroese's 

architectural spirit of balancing a strong sense of 

community with a unique touch of individualism.

terminal which is the longest airport terminal in the world
with a total length of 1.7 km from end to end. The
terminal's roof has the shape of a wing as seen in
cross-section to help air circulation through the building.
