Dear Robert,

"If you are skillful about certain things, a certain
careful reaction will come to you. You get an opposite
and equal reaction, as it were. So the order is in how
you deal with the environment of people around you."

Dear Frédéric,

"I see my building as if it were moving through the
forest, tracing an alley, a fluid liquid element, an entity
whose unity and direction from whatever side, always
seems different, not easy to determine whose nature and
ephemeral quality blend with the clouds, variation of the
sky and rain being factors constantly changing the
perception of the building"
(Frank Gehry, talking about Fondation Louis Vuitton)

Dear Frank,

It seems to me that the little fish that once swan in the
bathtub of your parents house when you were a child
grew up a little too much. Now he is ready to go back
to the ocean... or at least to the Mediterranean Sea.

Take care.

Jan,

The "private perch," as Gehry called
it,a kind of life-guard, is a tiny studio
with a panoramic view. A great spot
to spend time gazing out the beach.

Best.

145. Prague. The Dancing House

Dear Pier,

This well-known building was originally named
Fred and Ginger (after the famous pair of dancers),
though for some people it is difficult to understand this
metaphoric image. Others, however, have nicknamed
it "Drunk House".
That's easier!

Cheers.

Dear Alvaro,

This is the building that started out the well-known
"Bilbao effect". The powerful influence great public architecture can exert. After this building many eye-catching buildings by famous architect have been built worldwide.

Best Regards.
