En esta postal antigua que encontré se ven a la izquierda el Wishnick Hall (originalmente Chemistry Bldg.) y a la derecha algo más lejano el Perlstein Hall (Metallurgy and Chemical Engineering originalmente). Ambos edificios datan de 1947.

la moto marca Peugeot aparcada cerca del edificio.

Querida Cristina,

Cuando la estatua de San Jorge aniquilando el
dragón, que está en el dintel de la entrada de ésta
casa, fué bajada para ser restaurada en 1951, se
encontró un tubo de plomo detrás de ésta que
contenía en su interior los planos del edificio
firmados por el propio Gaudí.

Querido Juan,

Te mando una postal de la Plaza Tamayo en La Paz. El edificio alto es conocido como Monoblock y pertenece a la universidad. Se inauguró en 1947 y fue el primer "rascacielos" de la ciudad con sus 13 plantas. Es obra del famoso arquitecto boliviano Emilio Villanueva y aunque obra moderna tiene elementos estilísticos propios del art deco y del estilo local Tiwanaku.
