Kannonkoski Church is one of the foundational
works of Finnish modernist architecture, along
with the churches in Rajamäki and Varkaus.
The earliest and most functionalist church in
Finland church architecture is located along the
local road running along the edge of Kiihkovuori,
slightly separated from the settlement of
Kannonkoski.
