Dear Sybille,
Josef Paul Kleihues was one of the organisers
of the Berlin International Bauausstellung in
1986. He reduced the project of contemporary
architecture altogether to what he termed a
"Critical Reconstruction of the European City"
I still remember the impression the Kant Dreieck
tower left on me when we saw it as we passed
by on your motorbike.
