Dear Paula,
The impressive Calouste Gulbenkian Museum was
listed in 2010 as a National Monument in Portugal as
it represents one of the finest examples of modern
Portuguese architecture from the 1960s.

2345. Viitatorni. Jyväskylä
Dear Jan,
The fan-shaped 13-story Viitatorni apartment building
was commissioned to Alvar Aalto as the visual center
of a large residential area designed by Jorma Järvi.
First drawings of this building are reminiscent of the
Aalto's Neue Vahr building in Bremen but the plans
had to be reshaped as share-holders found it too unusual.
