Dear Adrian,
Although I know your favorite city is Tel-Aviv I'm sending you
a vintage postcard of Bucharest, another city that you like too.
The building in the picture is the Adriatica Asigurarea Building,
a hidden jewel of Modernist architecture. It was built in 1935 by
German-Jewish architect Rudolf Fränkel who had to flee from
Nazi Germany in 1933. Fränkel also completed another fantastic
Modernist building of Bucharest: the Scala cinema.
Best regards,
R
