Dear Ladislav,
The General Pension Fund Building in Prague-Zizkov was
the largest Functionalist structure in the city. It is considered
by many to be one of the most important works of Czech
Functionalism and a hallmark for the Czech architectural modern
movement.
The freestanding cross-shaped ground plan and the long strips
of ribbon windows, are two of the architectural features in this
outstanding building that clearly follows Le Corbusier's design
precepts.
Regards.
R
