619. IBM Pavilion. 1964-65 New York World's Fair


Dear Seve,

Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen began discussing ideas
for the 1964 NY World Fair IBM pavilion in 1961. First
thing they agreed was that the pavilion should be
"unarchitectural" so visitors could remember the experience
rather than the architecture.

What an important lesson so often forgotten!
