The Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade was one of the first museum of modern art in all Europe and the first one to introduce Conceptual Art.
This remarkable modernist building was shut in 2007 for
renovation but lack of proper fundings has kept the building permanently closed since then causing serious damage to Serbian culture.
