This church was designed by Reima and Raili Pietilä
and finished in 1966. Its name is Kaleva Church. Like
a Gothic cathedral, its walls consist only of structural
ribs separated by glazing. These ribs are concrete
planes that have been "folded" for rigidity.
Long time ago I worked in a project for a church that
it was very similar to this one and by that time we
didn't know anything about the Kaleva Church.
