2059. Model of Grundtvigskirken

Querido Miguel Angel,

2058. Neue Wallfahrtkirche, Neviges

Dear Sybille,

PS. Gracias por llevarnos a visitar este espacio

haciendo penumbra y casi total oscuridad
como en un sueño.

2055. Sven Markelius' Villa at Kevinge

Dear Eva,

This historic postcard regarding Sven Markelius'
own home at Kevinge was sent either by Mr. or
Mrs. Markelius as a Holidays greetings card.
This villa, built with prefabricated building
elements and the heating system, became highly associated to good craftsmanship, and sensible
and careful adjustments to the site. In all, it was
seen as the perfect example of the best Swedish
post-war empiricist architecture.

Gratefully,
R

Dear Nuccio,

"The constructions made by animals are rationalistic.
They are precise and unchanged, the same every day

2047. Jyväskylä Defense Corps Building

Querida Cristina,

Muchos besos,

Querida Sybille,

Dear Peter,

"The façade, designed by Helmut Federle,
transposes the overlay structure characteristic
of his paintings and drawings and introduces
it to the architectural dimension.
Additionally, the color variety calls to mind
the company’s origins in Basel, where it
began with the production of dyes.
In the end, the play between the panes of
colored glass reflects the endless processes
associated with the ongoing research pursued
at this location and forms a relationship with
the diverse, near limitless web of work, creative
energies, and encounters.” (Roger Diener)

Sincerely,
R
